Rolf was a Stargazer.
History[]
Rolf was a dwarf who lived several centuries ago. He was raised by the Stargazers at Ramandu's Rock, and became knowledgeable about a great many subjects from an early age, spending endless hours observing and interpreting the messages of the heavens. According to Owego, Rolf became convinced of a prophecy which anticipated an attempt by the Desolate One to devour the world. Rolf believed that champions would need to emerge and rise to this challenge. Rolf as last seen on a ship setting sail from the port of Asora, ostensibly on a mission from the Masters to assist the Corhyrian nobility in cleansing their waters of the pirates that were preying on merchant ships (most infamously Stefano Blacklips).
Description[]
Rolf was said to be patient and wise, taking time to consider all the information he had available to him before committing to a given path. Like other dwarves Rolf was short and broad, with a white beard and a bald head.
In the Campaign[]
Vantis, Lannus and Rexxar have discovered that the true reasaon Rolf was sailing south of Corhyr was to find a wish, and in fact he did find it. However Stefano Blacklips killed the dwarf before it could be used and took the wish for himself. Rolf had wanted to use the wish to give the foretold champions an advantage in their struggle.
